Fall Of RomeThis project was a fun and informational experience. My favorite part of it was making the GoAnimate videos to explain our topic. If I could have changed one thing, I would have changed the beginning slides and made them a little more fun (add more pictures and cool text). I learned a lot about Rome's fall and the reasons for it. I also learned some things that America could do differently from Rome to not fall.
Africa World Geo Wrap UpI chose this piece because it wraps up everything I learned about Africa. One thing I learned about Africa is how to pull people to your city/town/state/country/continent with trade routes. One complement I got for this project is (from Ms. Lukins), "Stellar overview that demonstrates your depth of knowledge about Africa! Well done!" One thing I can improve is I can add push factors to the pull factors slide. There are a lot of push factors from the Sahara Desert after all. :)
Islam World Geo Wrap UpWhat I liked about this piece is that I was very descriptive. I want to continue being this descriptive in the world wrap ups. I can actually connect to a part of this because I have been to Istanbul where a lot of Muslims live, and I went to the bazaar there. I hope you enjoy!

Marco Polo One Pager
I am proud of this piece because I put a lot of detail and descriptions about Marco Polo into the one pager. My goal is to continue writing with detail. My favorite part is when I explain that Marco Polo did not really go on all of the adventures people told of, he lied about most of the places he went to and got it information from Arabian Silk Road Traders. This is interesting because most people would believe his stories.
Infographic on Languages
I chose this piece because I think it is a nice representation of truly, how many people speak how many languages and what the most popular world languages are. I am most proud of the vote that I did in class of how many people spoke 1 or more languages because I got some pretty interesting results. One thing that I learned is that 7 percent of people that live in America don't even speak English! I hope you enjoy!
Past vs. Present - Johannes Kepler
This short project helped us prepare for our news article that we had to write about our Renaissance person. For example, I had to write mine about Johannes Kepler because that was my Renaissance person. My favorite line is, "Also, without Kepler, Sir Isaac Newton’s theories may not have been the same because Kepler laid a foundation for Newton’s theories." I chose this line because most people give a lot of credit to astronomers such as Galileo, Copernicus, and Newton, however, they do not realize that not only did Kepler provide a solid basis for Newtons discoveries, he modernized Copernicus's to improve them. Therefore, without Kepler, we may not have made some of the essential discoveries we have today to help us improve the knowledge of the changing universe around us.
